Philip Greenwood was born c1719 in probably Germany. He was the son of unknown parents. He married Catherine. He had seven children: Johann Adam, Anne Marie, Philip, Joseph Yost, Maria, Susannah, and Barbara. He died 18 Jan 1780 in Frederick Co, MD. His patriotic service included PS - Signed Oath 1778 in Frederick Co, MD. He signed an Oath of Fidelity in Frederick Co MD on Jan 7, 1778. Buried at Greenwood Cemetery, New Windsor, Carroll Co, MD (Marker removed)
