Hugh Stephenson married Mary Fogerson about 1759, Sussex, DE

Hugh & Mary Fogerson Stephenson had eight children:
John, Mary, James, Liddie (Lydia), Betsy, William, Anny, and Jinny Stephenson

Hugh Stephenson was a Civil Servant and member of a jury in Sussex County, DE, to try "persons" for treason (traitors).

Hugh Stephenson and his family settled in Monongalia County, (W)VA where he passed away on 4 May 1796, at the age of 59.
