Author: Henry Clint Peden, Jr
Thomas Treadway was born c1745 in Baltimore Co, MD. He was the son of Daniel Treadway (22 Nov 1724-25 May 1810) and Sarah Norris (15 Dec 1727-01 Nov 1836). He married Christina Sanders (born 27 May 1752, Baptized in 1800 at St. Georges Parish, Harford Co, MD) dau of Edward and Christina Sanders). He had at least 7 children: Sarah (born 26 Nov 1776), Elizabeth (born 07 Sep 1780) who married Martin Taylor Gilbert Jr., Mary (born 27 May 1782), Edward (born 15 Dec 1783), Aquila (born 08 Apr 1789), John Norris Treadway (born 26 Feb 1796), and Thomas. He died 1819 in Hamilton Co, OH. His service was as an Oath Taker having taken the Oath of Allegiance and Fidelity in Baltimore Co MD in 1778.
