Directions to Cemetery / Gravesite:
  • Leaving Interstate-64 at Kenova, Wayne County, WV, take US 52 and head south, as if you were going to Prichard. 15 miles, To Cyrus, WV
  • Slow down, and you will see the old Masonic lodge. Upon reaching the lodge, watch closely for, and take, the next right turn
  • It will you take you across the railroad tracks toward the Roswell Franklin Cyrus farmhouse
  • Drive forward on that gravel road as if you were going to visit the Cyrus farmhouse
  • On the left, on the south side of the Hatton farm cow pasture, you will see a fenced-in area with a few trees
  • That is the Abraham Cyrus Cemetery
  • Contact the farm owner before driving or walking south into the cow pasture to access the cemetery
