- Located about three miles off SR125 on Vaughn Ridge Road on Orval Grooms Farm. Only one marker is left from the two. The old Piatt homestead once stood next door to this farm. The Adams Co history states that the Revolutionary War soldier Benjamin Piatt was probably buried in the Trotter Cemetery near West Union. The Piatt family married into the Trotter family.
