Christian Miller, Sr., was born about 1715 at Germany. He married Anna Margaretha, whose family name is not known, about 1740. They were the parents of Anna Maria Kapley, Anna Margaret Shoenberger, Maria Fronica Swartz, Catherine Slaiger and Christian Miller, Jr.
Christian Jr. and Christian Sr. appear together in the early records of the Holy Cross Lutheran Bushkill Center Church of Northampton County. The church was formerly part of the Salem Union Church of Moorestown, for was from the Salem Evangelical Lutheran and Reformed and Jehovah Lutheran Bushkill Center churches.
He provided Patriotic Service by signing an Oath of Allegiance, 16 October 1777, at Northampton County, and paying the 1781 Supply Tax at Moore Township.
The Last Will and Testament of Christian Miller, of record at Will Book 1, Page 394, Northampton County, was made 13 November 1784. The Will named his wife and five known children named above. His will was probated in the Northampton County Court 29 November 1784. Anna Margaretha, wife of Chirstian Miller, Jr., appears to have died before her husband.
Their final resting places are not known.
