Jacob Frantz (1755-1819)  P-336237

Jacob Frantz was born 25 July 1755 in Germany.  He was a Private in the second company of the third battalion of the Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Militia under Captain Andrew Ream.  He was married about 1782 to Susannah Conrad, a daughter of (Johann) Peter Conrad (who is listed in the Patriot Research System at P-336238), born 07 August 1763.  Jacob and Susannah were the parents of Susannah, Peter, Jacob, Veronica “Fanny,” Catharina, Elisabeth, Joseph, Sarah, Veromina and Louisa.


Jacob died 04 November 1819 near Saylorsburg, Northampton (present-day Monroe) County, Pennsylvania.  He was laid to rest in the Plainfield Cemetery at Wind Gap, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.  Susannah died 28 December 1836 and was laid to rest beside her husband.
