Qualifying Service Description:
- Private in Captain Ross Wyman's (Artillery) company, Colonel Jonathan Ward's regiment which marched on the Lexington Alarm of 19 Apr 1775 to Cambridge - was credited with 9 days of service
- He also served in Captain Moses Harrington's company, Colonel Dike's regiment on the return of men in service from 20 Dec 1776 to 1 Mar 1777

The biography should discuss the qualifying service (military, patriotic, civil) of the patriot ancestor, where the service was rendered, whether this was a specific state or Continental service, as well as significant events (as determined by the author) of the patriot's life. This is the entire purpose of a patriot's biography.
