Author: Alan Wenzel

Michael was born circa 1730. He was married firstly to Anna Moles(?), and secondly circa 1776 to Mary Ann (Doss) Preston. From 1780 until July 1783 Michael saw service during the American Revolution. He first enlisted as a Private, in Heath's Independent Company of Bedford County Militia, and then into Captain Uriah Springer's Company. Both Colonel Gibson's 7th Virginia Regiment of Continental Line. He died circa 1800, in Bedford County, Virginia.
