Mary Boram Machen’s birth date and place of birth is unknown. Mary lived in Kingston Parish, Gloucester County, Virginia, which is now Mathews County, Virginia. In 1782 Mary paid personal property taxes in Kingston Parish. The revenue was used to support the American Revolution.
Mary Boram married John Machen on December 22, 1767, in Kingston Parish, Gloucester County. Their children include a daughter Mary, born January 21, 1771; a son Thomas, born in 1774 and baptized on April 6, 1774; a daughter Peggy, born April 26, 1777, and a son, John born December 5, 1780.
Her husband John Machen was a Patriot of the American Revolution, also.
Mary Boram Machen’s date and place of death is not known.
