Andrew Reeder was the second of fourteen children of John and Hannah (Mershon) Reeder. He was born 7 Apr 1756 and died in Lawrence Township, Hunterdon County on 14 Apr 1824. He married Sarah Burrowes 31 Aug 1786.

At his death, his estate was appraised at $11,050.62. His will mentions his wife, nieces, and nephews, but no children.
