Adam Spach was born in 1762 to Adam Sr and Maria Elisabeth Hueter Spach in North Carolina.

He married Susannah Barrett on 24 November 1770.

Adam was a conscientious objector when the American Revolution broke out due to being a Moravian. He is credited with providing supplies and transporting material for General Daniel Morgan’s and General Nathaniel Greene’s Southern Command of the Continental Army.

He died on 19 June 1816 and is buried at Friedburg, Rowan County, North Carolina.
