When Daniel H Bryson was born in June 1756 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, their father, William, was 39 and their mother, Isabella, was 36. Daniel H was married in 1790 in South Carolina.
Service: Capta, NC Volunteers, served with Colonel William Erwin.
Son of William Bryson and Isabella Holmes moved to North Carolina before the Revolutionary War. Served, along with his brothers, as NC militia men. Was at the battle of Cow Pens among others. Commissioned in the SC Militia during the War of 1812 while living in Pendleton District. Moved to the Sugar Fork community of Macon Co., NC prior to 1840. He first married Jennie (Last Name Unknown) and second Martha Morrow in Pendleton District on 5 May 1807.

Daniel H died on March 26, 1844, in Sugar Fork, North Carolina, having lived a long life of 87 years, and was buried in the Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery, in the Sugarfork Community, 56 Shadow Lane, east of Franklin, centeral Macon County. The marker is a tall mpnumnet over grave with flat government issued marker placed before it.
