Enrolled in the Bedminster Co. 2nd Battalion, under Col John Beatty and Capt. Robinson later Command by William Mc Henry.

Mr. Stover served as Justice of the Peace in Bedminster for many years. He also served as a member of the House of representatives, from 1793 to 1799, during the closing administration of George Washington and the beginning of that of John Adams.
