When Stephen BADGLEY was born in 1726 in Flushing, New York, their father, Anthony, was 31 and their mother, Phebe, was 25. Stephen had two brothers and two sisters. Stephen died in 1800 in Chatham, New York, at the age of 74.
Sergeant of the Virginia Continental Line. Listed on page 245 receiving Bounty Rights as member of Fourth Regiment of Durchess County Militia enlisted men.
He is one of the 5th great grandfathers of Kenneth D Roberts

Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format. The biography should discuss the qualifying service (military, patriotic, civil) of the patriot ancestor, where the service was rendered, whether this was a specific state or Continental service, as well as significant events (as determined by the author) of the patriot's life.
