Author: John R. Hundley III
Baruch Odell was born about 1755 and married Margaret Offutt, daughter of William Offutt, Jr. in 1778. Their daughter Keziah Odel married Charles Thrift III.

Baruch Odel served as a Private in the Maryland Militia under Captain Wilcoxen's 2nd Company and under Colonel John Murdock's 5th Company, 29th Battalion. He signed an Oath of Fidelity and Support in Montgomery County, Maryland in 1778.

Baruch Odell died 09 Jun 1789 in Montgomery County, Maryland.
