Jonathan Vernon served by furnishing supplies used in the Revolutionary War.

Jonathan was born abt. 1712 in Chester County, Pennsylvania to Thomas Vernon and Mary Elizabeth Austin.

He died 1805 in Stokes County, North Carolina.

He married Rebecca Worth in 1773 in Virginia, and they had the following children

1. Hannah (1743-1804) married Richard Taylor

5. Jane (1752-)
6. Rachel (1759-1844) married John Ward
7. Ebenezer (1760-1812)
