The year of birth for John George Miller is unknown at this time. He married Anna ***** in the early 1750's. John George and Anna Miller were the parents of four children: Elizabeth, John George, Jr., John Michael and Eva. The children's baptisms are all listed in the records of Kimmerling's Church, North Lebanon Twp., Lebanon County, PA. John George Miller was a farmer in Lancaster County in the area that became Dauphin County in 1785 (now Lebanon County), PA. He probably died in the fall of 1796 in Bethel Twp., Berks County, PA. John George Miller had his will written on May 1, 1789 in Dauphin County, PA and it was probated October 24,1796 in Berks County, PA, listing Bethel Twp. as the residence of the deceased party. Besides giving shares to his three living children, to his son-in-law Charles Benner "may remain on my land at his dwelling house as long as he remains a widower and single". Charles Benner having been married to Elizabeth Miller (born 1753) the oldest child of John George Miller.
During the Revolutionary War, John George Miller took the Oath of Allegiance to the state of Pennsylvania in Lancaster County (now eastern Lebanon County), PA, date unknown.
