Author: Wayne Jerome Rogers
Timothy Hungerford was born April 1747 at the (Hungerford) Millington homestead, Haddam, Conn; He was baptized 31 May 1747 at the Millington Hadden, Conn. He married Hannah Wilcox, a Quaker.

Corporal Timothy Hungerford was a corporal in the Connecticut Militia.

In 1800 he lived on land deeded to him by his father in Farmington (now Bristol, Conn) In spring 1804 to Watertown, NY. He is the father of patriot Captain Anson Hungerford of the War of 1812, the second revolutionary war.

He died in 28 September 1827 in Watertown, Jefferson County, New York .
