Author: William Robert Baccus
John Carrington was born in 1733 in St. Philip, Barbados. He died in November of 1803 in Hillsborough, Orange County, North Carolina. He married Mary Pamplin in 1755 in North Carolina. His father was Nathaniel Carrington and his mother was Mary Howell. John Carrington and Mary Pamplin had the following children: James, Ephraim, George, Mary, Nathaniel, Thomas, John, and Dicy. John sold corn and oats to the Revolutionary Army in November of 1780.
