Qualifying Service Description:

Revolutionary War service as: "Beamen, (sic) Gamaliel , Lancaster. Private Captain Daniel Robbins's co., Colonel Asa Whitcomb's regt., which marched Apr 19, 1775 to Cambridge; company made up from (2nd and 13th) cos. in said regt."; also, reportedly, re-enlisted 29 Mar 1777 at Winchendon, MA and made rank of Corporal, left a death record [at Valley Forge, (NPS) on 11 Oct 1777] prior to his (PA) Continental regt., marching with Gen Washington's American Army into winter quarters at Valley Forge arriving on Dec 19, 1777

Prudence mar., Gamaliel who was a Lancester, Worcester County (PA) militia Minute-man, that marched on the alarm of Apr 19, 1775, to Cambridge and returned home on Apr 30., 1775, 13 days;
