Qualifying Service Description:
1775, he served as a Private in the company of Captain Thomas Hamilton for a total of six months and five days.
1776, he served in the company of Captain John Russell, commanded by Major Barachiah Bassett.
1778, he also served as a Minuteman in the company of Captain Elijah Smalley, commanded by Major Zenas Winslow.
1780, he served in the company of Captain Nathaniel Freeman, commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel Enoch Hallet.

Ebenezer Eldredge was born on 7 June 1755 in Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Ebenezer and Deliverance Eldredge.
He married Sarah Small on 17 December 1776 in Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.2] Among their known children were:4
Eli was born about 1777 and married Lydia Nickerson.
Jeremiah was born about 1779 and married 1) Phebe Crosby and 2) Mrs. Betsey Newell (Linnell) Eaton.
Ebenezer Jr married Patience Bassett.
Joseph was born on 11 September 1784 and married Daty Baker.
Bridget was born about 1785 and married John or Job Wixon.
Sally was born about 1787 and married Levi Cahoon.
Jacob was born on 11 December 1790 and married Mercy Chase.
Salome was born on 15 October 1797 and married Jonathan Cahoon.
During the American Revolution, he served as a Private in the company of Captain Thomas Hamilton. He enlisted on 18 July 1775 and served until 31 December 1775 for a total of six months and five days. The company was stationed in Barnstable County for the defense of the seacoast. In 1778, he also served as a Minuteman in the company of Captain Elijah Smalley, commanded by Major Zenas Winslow. He served six days and marched on the alarm to Bedford and Falmouth.3
He made his Last Will and Testament in 1835. His heirs were his wife, Sarah, children named as Jacob, Bridget, the wife of John Wixon, Sally the wife of Louis Cahoon, Salome the wife of Jonathan Cahoon, Ebenezer [Jr], deceased (names is widow and children), Eli deceased (names his widow and children), and son Jeremiah. He later added a Codicil to mention his son, Joseph, who he forgot in the original Will. The Will was proven in court on 15 April 1844.4
The Patriot died on 8 February 1844 in Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, and was buried at Hawks Nest Cemetery.
