  1. Revolutionary War service as a Colonel for (5th) Middlesex County (MA) regt
  2. Samuel Bullard's name appears in a list of officers on Mass. militia; commissioned Feb 7 (also shown, Feb 8), 1776
  3. List of officers commissioned March 28, 1776, dtd., Sherborn
  4. Gen Warner's Bgde., engaged Aug 4, 1777; discharged Nov 30, 1777; service, 3 mos. 27 days, at the taking of Gen Burgoyne; also, order of Council dtd., Apr 14, 1779, accepting the resignation of said Bullard as Colonel of the 5th Middlesex County regt

Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format. The narrative should unfold in a logical manner (e.g. the narrative does not jump from time period to time period) or have repeated digressions, or tell the history of the patriot's line from the patriot ancestor to the author.
