Zachariah Spencer II was born on March 13, 1732 in St. George Parish of Baltimore, Maryland.  During the American Revolutionary War, he provided logistical support for Patriot forces through the furnishing of corn, wheat, and clothing.  He also served as a Grand Juror and Road Overseer as a Civil Servant for the State of North Carolina.  On September 25, 1755, Spencer married Ann Pogue in St. George Parish of Baltimore, Maryland. The couple would have a son, Zachariah Spencer III, who was born on February 28, 1761 in St. George Parish of Baltimore, Maryland. Zachariah Spencer II died before October 6, 1789 in Lincoln County, North Carolina.
