Author: Rodger Dent
Henry Ruyle was born 1715 in Alsace/Lorraine, France. He emigrated from France to Pennsylvania. He then moved to what was then North Carolina, later Tennessee, where he was farmer. He married and had twelve children. He was patriot by providing supplies to the Virginia patriots during the War of the Revolution. Henry died 16 February, 1790 at Sumner County, Tennessee.
