Instead the information provided is best effort, and from volunteers who have either researched grave sites, service records, or something similar. There is no documentation available at NSSAR HQ to order.
There is a family monument that appears to be from the 20th century. He died several years prior to the founding of Mt. Auburn Cemetery, so the stone is likely a cenotaph

Jonas Wyeth (Sr) was born on February 19, 1730, in Cambridge, Middlesex, Massachusetts, the son of Ebenezer and Susannah Wyeth. When Ebenezer died in 1754, his will gave Jonas the 17th-century homestead near Cambridge Common. Jonas was a bricklayer and served as a private in the French and Indian War.
He married Hepzibah Tidd on March 29, 1753, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. They had the following children: Lucy, Jonas Wyeth Jr (who also served in the Revolutionary War), and Tapley.
Jonas was one of the militias who marched to the alarm of April 19, 1775, for the Battle of Lexington and Concord, at the start of the American Revolutionary War. (At least 12 kin of Jonas also responded to the alarm that day.) Jonas was in the company under the command of Captain Samuel Thatcher in Colonel Thomas Gardner’s Regiment of Militia. The company had at least 75 men. The company entered the battle at Lincoln and continued fighting at least until Fiske Hill where they engaged the British under Lieutenant-Colonel Francis Smith around 2:30 p.m. Records state that Jonas traveled a total of 28 miles that day Noah was credited for two days of service. For this service, he was paid 2 shillings 10 pence, plus 2 shillings 4 pence “mileage”.
Jonas served as a Cambridge Selectman in 1777 and 1778.
Jonas Wyeth Sr. died February 5, 1813, in Cambridge, Middlesex, Massachusetts, and was buried in the family tomb. There is a family stone with his name on it in Mount Auburn Cemetery, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mount Auburn was founded in 1831, some 18 years after Jonas’ death. He was reinterned there on September 12, 1845.
Send a biographical sketch of your patriot!
Patriot biographies must be the original work of the author, and work submitted must not belong to another person or group, in observance with copyright law. Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format. The narrative should unfold in a logical manner (e.g. the narrative does not jump from time period to time period) or have repeated digressions, or tell the history of the patriot's line from the patriot ancestor to the author. The thinking here is that this is a patriot biography, not a lineage report or a kinship determination project or other report published in a genealogy journal. The biography should discuss the qualifying service (military, patriotic, civil) of the patriot ancestor, where the service was rendered, whether this was a specific state or Continental service, as well as significant events (as determined by the author) of the patriot's life. This is the entire purpose of a patriot's biography.
