  1. In his 17th year he entered the Revolutionary Arym as a SGt in a Company of Virginia riflemen commanded by Captains John Cartmill, Looney
  2. His company was first attached to the regiment of Colonel Otho H Williams near Jamestown on July 6, 1781

Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format.
