Directions to Cemetery / Gravesite:
From the intersection of Warren Street (Hwy 401) and Main Street in Lamar, SC, take Warren St for roughly 1.9 miles to the intersection of Windham Town Road on the left. Take Windham Town roughly 2.3 miles to Windhamtown Cemetery Rd on the right. Follow the cemetery road for roughly .2 miles to the cemetery on the right. The cemetery is well maintained. An area for parking is available right beside the cemetery.

The following biography of Amos Windham was posted anonymously at findagrave.com. I am not the author.
He served as a lieutenant, captain and major in the St David's Parish Militia during 1776. In addition, he served as a captain under General Marion, in the Pee Dee Region during 1781, 1782 and 1783. Council of Safety 21 February 1776.

Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format.
