He served in the Virginia Troops.

Buried: On road from Jackson to Fincherville beyond Tussehaw Creek on land formerly owned by Knowles family. His name appears on a Memorial to Revolutionary Soldiers in Griffin, Georgia.

Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format.
