Thaddeus Whitlock was born in Ridgefield, CT on 16 Dec 1759 to John Whitlock and Sarah Lobdell. Thaddeus married Phebe Mead and had 12 children. He passed away on 20 Nov 1825 in Ridgefield, CT and is buried in the Ridgefield Cemetery. Phebe Mead was born 1764 and died 1844.

Private in Capt. Joseph Hait’s Co., Col. Webb’s Regiment, Gen Sullivan Brigade that marched to Boston 22 July 1775 to 23 December 1775. Served at New York in Capt. Comstock’s Co., 9th Regiment, discharged 11 August 1776. Private in Capt. Thaddeus Weed’s Co, Col. Philip Bradley Regiment Nov 1779 to Dec 1779.
