Qualifying Service Description:
  1. In 1775, he was in the role of Sergeant in Captain Robert Webster’s Company of Minutemen of General Seth Pomroy’s Regiment (later Colonel John Fellow’s 8th Regiment)
  2. He later served as a 1st Lieutenant in the 9th Company of Captain Christopher Bannister of the 2nd Hampshire Regiment
  3. In 1776, he was promoted to Captain of the 7th Company of Colonel Israel Chapin’s 2nd Hampshire Regiment
