Author: Michael J. Blum
Born in 1764, in Fairfield, Connecticut. He joined the Regiment at Stamford, under Colonel Preston for one year. He was engaged in building Fort Nonsense in Morristown, New Jersey, guarding thee lines against the incursion of the enemy from New York City. In other tours he was stationed at Greenwich, Connecticut and other places in that vicinity as one of the garrison.
He Died on January 13, 1836, Buried in Armstrong Chapel Cemetery, Indian Hill, OH.

He moved from Fairfield County, Connecticut, to New York, to Kentucky in the1790’s and finally settled in Indian Hill in Columbia Township, Hamilton County, Ohio. On September 3, 1832, he was residing in Columbia, Hamilton County, when he applied for a pension.
