Served as private in Captain Barnard Zimmerman's PA Militia Company under Colonel Mathias Slough's Battalion, Lancaster County, PA. suffered depedation 1782. Service source: PA Archives, series 5, vol VII, pages 632-633. PA ARCH, 3rd ser, vol 19, p 504

While this location was in Northumberland County when Jacob died, it was part of Union County from 1813-1855 and since 1855 it is in Snyder County.



Directions to Cemetery / Gravesite:

Jacob's grave is the first grave in the cemetery. It is behind (northwest of) the church in the far southeast corner of the cemetery. The tombstone is unreadable.
