Author: Michael B. Gunn
Born on April 6, 1736, Bergen County, New Jersey. In 1776 he served as a Corporal in Capt Isaac Halsey's Company, Col Jacob Ford's Regt, Morris County, NJ Militia. He married Phebe Carter; children: Elias, Sarah, Abraham, Sineon and Daniel. He Died on May 22, 1808, and buried at Sugar grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, Preble Co., OH. Cemetery Note: Reportedly, the grave marker was lost due to flooding.
