Born in Hunterdon Co., New Jersey about 1749. He served as a Private under Major Logan, Colonel Rawlings, General Clinton and Captains Roberson, John Graines, in the NY Militia. Pension# S9497. He married Catherine Hoffman; children: Catherine, Andrew, Elias & Cornelius. He Died on January 27, 1843 in Delaware County and Buried at Stark Cemetery, OH Rte 656, Stark Corners, Porter Twp., Delaware Co., OH 43074.
