Author: Dr. Michael Bernard Gunn

Born on May 1, 1753, in (Scotland or) Cumberland Co, Pennsylvania. He served as a Pvt in Capt Talbot's Company, 6th PA Battalion, Colonel William Ervine. He Married Esther Martin; 9 children including: Samuel b. 1795, Innis b. 1799, John b. 1792, William b.1786, Joannab. 1790, Thomas b. 1793 and Alexander b. 1788. He Died on December 27, 1827, Cedarville, Greene Co., OH and Buried at Stevenson's Cemetery, Jones Road, Wilberforce, Green Co., OH. Ref : Certified statement in PA State Library, Harrisburg, PA. Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format.
