Peter Tower was born 12 Jan 1729 in Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts. He was the son of Peter Tower and Patience Gardner. He married Deborah Stowell. He had Leah Tower b 1747; Sarah Tower b 1750; Lydia Tower b 1752; Stephen Tower b. 1752; Rufus Tower b 1757; Lucy Tower b 1760; Asa F Tower b 1762; Molly Tower b 1765; Deborah Tower b 1767; Patience Tower b 1770;. He died 4 Aug 1814 in Cummington, Hampshire, Massachusetts. His patriotic service included rank of Private and soldier serving under Capt Pyam Cushing's Company. Soldier serving under Capt Pyam Cushing's Company. He is buried at Bryant Cemetery, Cummington, Hampshire, Massachusetts
