Author: Douglas Lee Hall
Benjamin Tiffany, son of Benjamin Tiffany, was born 1745 in East Greenwich, Providence County, Rhode Island. He was married to Mary Olin, daughter of Henry Olin, on 6 November 1768. Benjamin and Mary Tiffany moved to Cambridge, New York. Benjamin Tiffany served as a 1st Lieutenant in the 16th Regiment militia for Albany County, New York. His Commanders were Colonel John Blair and Colonel Lewis Van Woert.

Benjamin passed on 12 April 1801. Mary Tiffany passed on 6 February 1812. Both are buried in Cambridge, Washington County, New York.
