The property where the cemetery is located is a farm owned by Means & Fort Electric Company in Hopkinsville, KY and does not have a residence on it
The address provided is the nearest adjoining property
The cemetery is located about 500 yards to the left (South) of that residence and about 300 yards West of Hwy 41/Pembroke Road in a small clump of trees in the middle of an agricultural field
The cemetery is overgrown with weeds and bushes

He appeard in person in Christian Co., KY Court on 7 Jan 1833 and testified as to his service in order to seek a Rev War Pension. 1st tour: He joined the Orange Co., VA militia in Nov 1780 and served under Capt. R. Groves in COL Oliver Towes Regiment. 2nd tour: Served under Capt. William Thomas, his brother in Greenville Co., NC. 3rd tour: Served as Orderly Sgt in Orange Co., VA militia in 1781 under Capt. Richard Webb. 4th tour: Served as Ensign commissioned by Orange County Court under Capt. Robert Stubblefield in William Darks Regiment of Foot. His petition also included letters and affidavits from others. He was awarded an annual pension of $45.66 on 4 Jan 1834.
Charles Thomas Will dated 23 Sep 1843, probated 2 Mar 1846, and recorded in Christian Co., KY Will Book M, pg. 223 named the following heirs: CHILDREN: Ann Graves - Charles Thomas - Robert Thomas - Polly Winfrey. It also mentioned other children but did not name them. It did not name a widow and his son, Robert Thomas was Executor.

Patriot biographies must be the original work of the author, and work submitted must not belong to another person or group, in observance with copyright law. Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format. The narrative should unfold in a logical manner (e.g. the narrative does not jump from time period to time period) or have repeated digressions, or tell the history of the patriot's line from the patriot ancestor to the author. The thinking here is that this is a patriot biography, not a lineage report or a kinship determination project or other report published in a genealogy journal. The biography should discuss the qualifying service (military, patriotic, civil) of the patriot ancestor, where the service was rendered, whether this was a specific state or Continental service, as well as significant events (as determined by the author) of the patriot's life. This is the entire purpose of a patriot's biography.
