Qualifying Service Description:
  1. He served as a Private in the Dragoons in the Companies of Captain Babcock and of Captain Stryker, in the 1st Battalion of Colonel Johnson of New Jersey
  2. He later held the rank of Sergeant. Records of Somerset County, NJ list him as Captain during the Revolution

Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format.
