William Able Teague was born in Frederick County, Virginia in 1752. His parents, Moses Teague and Elizabeth Loftin were born in Maryland.

William married Elizabeth Pennington and had two children: Rachel and Moses.
William provided Patriotic Service by furnishing supplies (HAUN, NC REV ARMY ACCTS, BOOK C, PART XIV, PP 1931, 1942, 1962, 1963)
The Teague family was involved in Regulator Movement in Chatham County. North Carolina before the Revolutionary War.
William died after. 6 Jun 1835 Whitley Co., Kentucky.
