James Suddarth was born about 1720 in Stafford, Virginia James was the son of William Suddarth and Partlow Mills.

He married Patience Sumter, the sister of General Thomas Sumter, on December 9, 1746 in Albemarle, Virginia.

He provided supplies to support the Revolution. James died before September 1, 1800 in Albemarle, Virginia.

James Sudderth was born Abt. 1720 in Stafford Co., VA, and died 01 September, 1800 in Albemarle Co., VA. He married Patience Sumter Aft. 1751 in Albemarle Co., VA, daughter of William Sumter and Elizabeth Unknown. Patience was the sister of General Thomas Sumter.

James Sudderth rendered material aid in support of the American Revolution.
