Conrad Stumpf was born on 24 March 1755 in Albany Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania, the son of John and Anna (Hagenbuch) Stumpf.
He married Juliana Ritter in 1787 and had six known children.
Magdalena was born on 25 June 1788 and married Abraham Markel.
Catherine was born on 26 May 1791 and married Joel Stump.
Barbara was born on 14 January 1797 and married 1) Henry Koenig and [given name undetermined] Sonzer.
William was born on 7 August 1782 and married Elizabeth Reichelderfer.
George was born on 19 November 1799 and married Margaret Rebekah Everett.
Henry was born on 30 June 1794.
Conrad served as a Private in Lieutenant Jacob Morgan’s Company, Captain Ritter’s 3rd Battalion, Berks County, Pennsylvania Militia from 1777-1778. He also signed the Oath of Allegiance on 26 May 1778.
He paid taxes in 1812 for section 24 of Saltcreek Township. The Stumpf’s were in the cattle business, buying, selling, and driving cattle to eastern markets.
The Patriot died on 24 September 1824 in Pickaway County, Ohio, and was buried in the Stumpf Cemetery.

Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format.
