Old Cemetery within Benson, VT had an upright headstone for Stephen Sherwood, but there was neither a NSSAR bronze lug nor a NSDAR marker, noted SAR Patriot Graves Registry from submitted on 25 Jan 1997 by Paul D Drake NSSAR No. 144979, a resident of 1610 Stone Drive, Crossville, TN 38555
