Born in Huntington Co., Pennsylvania in 1743 to Parents : Anthony (1712-1792)and Catherine Schnrider (1723-1792) Sells.

Was in PA Assembly.

He Married Katherine Deardorff (1748-1828) in 1770; Children: Samuel B., John, Benjamin, Peter, Mary, Sophia, Margaret, William H., and George.

He Died at Dublin, Franklin Co, OH on October 13, 1823 and Buried at Dublin (International Order of Odd Fellows, IOOF or Odd Fellows) Cemetery, Section 1 Lot 365, 190 Monterey Drive, Dublin, OH. First large marker entering Cemetery. MI : "In memory of Ludwick Sells B, Huntington, Pa, 1743. Settled Franklin Co, 1798. Died 1823. Erected by his descendants Sept 10, 1915." By large monument and bronze tablet. Sept 10, 1915. Farmer.

Came to Franklin Co. 1798. Came over mountains to Pittsburgh. Bought flat boat and poled up Scioto River. Moved to Dublin. First Court held in his home. Member of Pennsylvania Assembly in 1780. One of Pioneer settlers of county. Name on Memorial Tablet in Memorial Hall as Revolutionary Soldier and Pioneer of county. Cemetery notes and/or description: The Dublin Cemetery, located in Washington Township, was established in 1858 as the International Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.) Cemetery. It was known by that name until the city of Dublin took over the cemetery in the 1970s. Many of the remains, along with individual stones, were moved here from Indian Run Cemetery. Also, remains buried at Deardorf Cemetery, originally located southeast of Riverside Drive (US Route 33) and Dublin-Granville Road (State Route 161) in Perry Township, were moved to this cemetery.
