Author: Frank Grady Hall III
When George Savitz (Cevits), Senior, was born in 1739 in North Carolina, his father, George, was 44 and his mother, Barbara, was 34.

He married Roseane Mary in 1755. They had seven children during their marriage.

He died after 28 April 1794 in Lincoln County, North Carolina, at the age of 55.

He served as a constable, served as a juror, and rendered material aid to the Army during the American Revolution.

Patriot biographies are to be written in complete sentences, follow the established rules of grammar, syntax and punctuation, be free of typographical errors, and follow a narrative format.
