  • There appears to be three stones: an upright headstone that appears to be contemporary with the death of the Patriot; a footstone that reads "T.S." that may belong to the Patriot; and a large obelisk with "Sammons" at the base and a large bronze plaque that details his political career

  • Located south of Johnstown, New York, take route 30A (Old Plank Road) to Old Trail Road and turn west. The small cemetery is located just west of the intersection on the north side of the road
