John Roll had three sons who also were patriots.  Besides Abraham who is listed, there are two more sons,  John Roll (served in the NJ militia with his father) and Matthias Roll Sr. (DAR # A097137)

Sergeant in the New Jersey Troops under Col. Selvanus Seely, Capt. Peter Layton's Company, Eastern Battalion, Morris County, New Jersey.
Guarded prisoners.
He was originally buried in Roll Cemetery. Buried in Wesleyan Cemetery (Colerain Ave. at Hoffner St.), Section H lot 61, no personal stone.
