Rice, Elezer - d. 25 Jan 1827, age 80.

Elezer AKA Eleazer was a soldier in the revolution. See general source for Eleazer. He and Rosannah resided in the west part of the present town of East Granby. According to Dorothy Schell, a letter to his wife shows he took part in the battle of Long Island. He manufactured potash and refined it into pearl ash.
