1742, Wake County, North Carolina — 29 May 1835, Dickson County. Reynolds served in the North Carolina Continental Line and received Land Grant #3780 for 228 acres, issued 26 December 1792.

He married (1) Ghaskie Thomas, (2) Susanna Bush Roebuck. His children were Frances Alley, 11 April 1794 — ?, married Francis Frederick von Schmittou; John G., 11 April 1784 — ? (twin); William S., 1795 — ?, married (1) Elizabeth Jane Walker, (2) Martha Green; Charlotte, married Robert Livingston; Mary “Polly”, married James Wilson; Havens Clary, married ? Dunaway; Darling Eably married Robert McMurray; Mark; Gilliam married James McMurray; Thomas Mack, 14 August 1818 — ?, married Durinda Slayden; Nancy Francis “Nancy Ben”, 4 October 1814 – 25 December 1896, married Benjamin Adams. Stuart, DAR Regent, 1974 — 1977 in preparation for the unveiling of the DAR Monument on the Courthouse Lawn on 4 July 1976, celebrating the American Bicentennial. The information was updated 25 February 1980 by the Gideon Carr Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, 14 January 2005 and 31 August 2006 by Rick Hollis, Charter President, Christopher Strong Chapter, Tennessee Society Sons of the American Revolution.
